Paula M. Stinson is an NYU acting school dropout (1994) and 2011 graduate of California State University, San Bernardino, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. This milestone coming seventeen years after skipping out of David Mamet's Practical Aesthetics Workshop at the Atlantic Theater Company. In addition to writing her "Probing & insightful" (—Playwrights Horizons, NYC) two act play with music, THE MIXTAPE: An Urban Love Story, she's an award-winning poet, prolific photographer, and pug addict. When not dreaming up dialogue or new vocabulary, Paula teaches creative writing and composition at College of the Desert. Her second play, a political satire, is due out in June of 2020.
