Paula M. Stinson is an NYU acting school dropout (1994) and 2011 graduate of California State University, San Bernardino, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. This milestone coming seventeen years after skipping out of David Mamet's Practical Aesthetics Workshop at the Atlantic Theater Company. In addition to writing her "Probing & insightful" (—Playwrights Horizons, NYC) two act play with music, THE MIXTAPE: An Urban Love Story, she's an award-winning poet, prolific photographer, registered Democrat and pug addict. When not dreaming up dialogue or new vocabulary, Paula teaches English composition around the Southland. She lives by the sea with her partner—a crime novelist—and their four adopted children. Her second work, a book on health, is due out in June of 2020. Saturn was transiting the 11th House at the time of her birth.
